The ISS Data Recovery Center has excellent service and kind, professional people, in my humble experience. However, despite the fact that these individuals are exceptionally competent at what they do, please be aware that data recovery is costly. Regarding their customer files, I want to acknowledge that they comply with the Data Privacy Act. Lastly, I appreciate the freebie that they send to me in form of a mini calendar.

My iMac crashed and froze in the middle of July 2023 and while I was able to have it fixed, all the repair center could recommend to do about the internal 1TB hard drive was replace it. All my years of research data, lecture notes, and manuscripts (including my thesis!) suddenly became inaccessible.
